This customer is a full-service communications agency that focuses on being the go-to resource for companies looking for results. Being experts at turning ideas into action, this large agency wanted to produce a creative postcard mailing for one of its fortune 100 clients.
To ensure the success of the campaign, the customer needed to have the postcards in the target audience’s hands within seven days from the release date. Because they were being mailed from Baltimore and majority of the target audience was located in Florida, this presented a challenge. Additionally, the agency needed a partner that would offer solutions to ensure the mailing remained cost-effective.
After carefully reviewing the mail files and performing Cass Certification on the mailing list, the solutions specialists at Art Litho were able to present a value-added solution to the agency. After identifying that majority of the target audience was concentrated in the same postal area, Art Litho was able to have the mailing certified in Baltimore then dropped directly to the Post Office SCF (Sectional Center Facility) in Florida. The standard process would have been for the mail to enter the SCF (Sectional Center Facility) and BMC (Bulk Mail Center) in Baltimore and then head to the BMC (Bulk Mail Center) in Florida before entering the mail steam. This would equate to 14 days of mail travel time before reaching the intended destination. By entering the mail further in the Postal stream, Art Litho was able to reduce the handling time for the agency’s direct mail campaign. This solution not only ensured that the mail got into the target audience’s hands on time but also saved the agency’s client money on the overall project!
Art Litho Printing Solutions and the agency worked together to identify a solution that further enhanced the efficiency of the direct mail project. Our mail solutions decreased postage, enhanced delivery time, and further contributed to the to the success of the direct mail campaign.
Now that’s working together!
