art litho printing solutions

History

The year was 1948. Harry S. Truman was in the White House, the Dodgers were in Brooklyn, and Phil Hoffman was in the basement of his Baltimore home, starting a one man printing business—the Art Litho Company, with a multilith and a box of borrowed plates.

Over the years that followed, the company expanded significantly becoming one of the largest printers in the Baltimore/ Washington DC area. In 1988, Phil Hoffman sold the company to the Clondalkin Group LLC, an International printing and packaging company.

Nearly sixty years have passed since the company was founded and a lot of changes have taken place.  Harry Truman is in the history books, the Dodgers are in Los Angeles and Art Litho is no longer a one-man printing business.    We’re now a dynamic, woman-owned business with an unyielding commitment to satisfying our customers, producing quality products, and strengthening our community.
